It has always been difficult for me to find a plus size dress. Though there are plenty of speciality stores they don’t seem to cater to my age. I find that they tend to design clothing that would look better on a more mature woman than on me. So the best thing you can do if you are like me is find out what works for you.
You may feel more comfortable in that old bagging shirt but does it make you feel like a woman? My answer is no. So I did the leg work. Go to any store that carries your size and spend the day just trying on different things. I start with the things that I would not normally be attracted to. You will often be pleasantly surprised when you jump outside of your comfort zone.
The best thing you can do is find that body part that is your favorite and emphasize it. I love my legs so I go for shorter skirts and tailored pants. One of the things to remember when trying to find your style is that you need to love it. No one else needs to love it, just you. Embrace your curves and your feminity. Show the world your inner beauty by appreciating your outer beauty.
